Part 1
- A. Absolute ← A. goes with G. ↓
- G. This type of link is a complete path that always includes the protocol
- B. Relative ← B. goes with F. ↓
- F. This type of link is in relation to the current file to the linked file.
Part 2
- 1. https://www.hawkeyecollege.edu/ - I used an absolute link for the Hawkeye website link because it gives the whole address and makes sure you get to where you are going. There are lots of websites that use very similiar website names in order to get you to click on them by mistake so that they can give you malware so I think I prefer absolute links for this purpose
- 2. https://joshuasears.com/IWD/index.html I Used a relative link for my homepage because this was the link availalable in this case and because it is clear and easy to read so it is not mistaken for something else.
- 3.https://www.joshuasears.com/IWD/index.html I did the Absolute link this time but just had to add the "www." in order to make this an absolute link.
- 4. Yes I see a little difference because of how I had to type it out and looking at it now adding the "www." made it look safer for some reason? Probably because the whole link is there to be read so you can see there is no Malware for sure in the whole link. It may make it look more appealing to others also.
