A short "360" summary of Tommy Boy

Tommmy Boy is an excellent movie about two best friends, who go on a wild adventure to save Tommy's factory from being sold to a competitor and then closing. The movie also entails murder and bad people who try to sabotage Tommy Boy and his Friend from completing their sales so that the factory can stay open and not be sold.

My feelings about the Movie

I personally love this movie because It shows Chris Farley and David Spade at their absolute funniest and in my opinion I think this would also be some of their best acting as well. They have an incrdible dynamic together as actors and friends and realized early on that they work well off each other when they just improvise sketches. David Spades ability to use Sarcasm as a defensive weapon along with insulting the opposing characters intelligence makes makes him absolutely hilarious to pair with Chris Farley. Farley has an ability to use those insults and feed off of them in a way that is comedic Gold. He is a reactionary actor at his best and David Spade gives him more then enough to work with.

The funniest moments of the movie

1. 1. "Fat guy in a little coat" This scene is the best in my view.
2. 2. "You want me to fluff your pillow" this is another hilarious scene.
3. 3. The fight scene between David Spade and Chris Farley at the side stop. Proabably the best sarcasm in this scene!

My reason for Why these are some of the best scenes of the whole Movie

• "Fat guy in a little coat" was the funniest Scene to me because of the way Chris Farley used his amazing goofy sense of humor to make Richard (David Spade's character) laugh after he was feeling down about not doing well on their quest. Chris Farley has a unique goofy sense of humor when he is allowed to improvise that let's him release his inner child and get rid of his inhibitions.
• Another Fantastic Scene that makes me roll around laughing is the "fight scene" between Spade and Farley at the Truck stop. This scene has the element of surprise that is secod to none in good comedy movies. Spade and Farley get out of the car on the side of the road and Farley starts antagonizing "little Richard" by making fun of his height and taunting him into fighting him. Richard decides to Oblige in the funniest way possible by hitting Farley repeatedly, all while Farley appears dazed and continues to Taunt Spade. Then right at the end of the Fight when Farley is clearly confused and lost the fight but still mocking, Spade hits him in the head with a 2X4 board and knocks him out cold! This was hilarious
• The very next scene right after the Fight Scene was them in the truck stop diner ordering food and another hilarious moment occurs when Farley asks Spade if their are any marks on his face from the 2x4 board. Spade replies no but we can see a huge mark very clearly. Farley rightly describes where he thinks the mark should be by the pain he feels but again Spade says, "nope, nothing there". Then the Waitress walks up and says "Holy Cow", after she sees his face and Farley proclaims,"I knew it Richard". This was another fantastically funny scene.
• The "you want me fluff your pillow" is another classic scene from the movie. Farley is Knocking on Spades hotel room door and Richard is sleeping. He does not want to answer the door. Farley decides to pretend to be the maid and start messing with Spade while he tries to sleep. Farley is relentless in asking typical questions a maid would sometimes ask in a feminine voice. He asks " you want me fluff your pillow?" along with a few other things like that. Then out of no where he asks if Spade would like an explicit favor done for him. Then Spade gets up and says says "what kind of hotel is this?" while answering the door finally. He sees Farley and is upset which makes this scene another golden moment.

Things You didn't know about Tommy Boy!

According to "Mental Floss- 15 things you may not know about Tommy Boy", Rob Lowe was not credited for his role in the movie. Rob Lowe was a very famous actor but sure enough in the theatrical release he was not credited. Rob Lowe played the Villian in Tommy Boy for those of you who don't remember. Rob Lowe played the Evil Stepbrother of Tommy Callahan(Chris Farley).

Another Fun fact about from the Movie is that both of Chris Farley's brothers. Kevin Farley and John Farley both had a small Cameo in the wedding scene but if you blink during the scene then you may miss it. There role lasted mere seconds before Tommy Boy gets up on stage to sing with his father (Brian Dennehy) during the wedding.
