Orangutans in Popular Culture

I have all found the Animals to be interesting, mostly because they have red hair like me! They are not easy to train and are extremely strong but have been in many movies. Clint Eastwood did a Famous movie with an Orangutan called "Every Which Way but Loose".

Why Orangutans are Endangered

Now a days the poor Orangutans are considered Endangered and are in need of our help to people from poaching or hunting them Illegally for sport. Deforestation is also a primary threat. Big Business has been destroying the forest to capitalize on Palm Oil and it is ruining these wonderful animals habitats. Not buying Palm oil products may be one way we can help here in the United States. Decreasing demand would only slow it down I am afraid. We need to Protest and petition the Local Governments to demand they force these big Palm Oil business to stop destroying the Forest. The Forest should be declared a Natural Wildlife reserve as one way to stop businesses from coming in and tearing it all down. I want to than you all for reading my page! Please help save the Orangutans!
